This article describes the the step-by-step procedure to install the respective OS in your server . The following OSs are supported for the server:


Note: 

Before installation, download the respective ISO images from the links above. Server support only 64-bit.


Prerequisite

You need to know the BMC IP address, check the DHCP assignment in the router/network.

Instructions

You need to log into the BMC to install the respective OS. To do so: 

  1. Login to the BMC. Username and password is Admin.



  2. Click Remote Control > Launch H5Viewer. A new window is displayed.



  3. Click Browse File button
  4. Browse and then choose the ISO file you want to attached, and click Open.
  5. Click Start Media button.



  6. Click Power > Power On Server.



  7. A pop-up message is displayed. Click Ok to continue.



  8. When the Biqmind logo is displayed, press ESC key continuously on your keyboard to access the BIOS.



  9. Either override the Boot Option to UEFI: AMI Virtual CDROMO 1.00 or set the Boot Order.



  10. Go to Save & Exit > Save Changes and Exit  or press F4 keySystem will now reboot and boot the option you have selected.

    • CentOS v7.4
    • Red Hat® Enterprise Linux® (RHEL) v7.4/7.5/7.6
    • Red Hat® Enterprise Linux® (RHEL) Atomic v7.6.1.1
    • Ubuntu v18.04
    • Windows Server 2016
    For Redhat Installation
    1. Select the first option and press Enter key.

    2. Follow on-screen instructions to install.
    3. After installation is completed, log into the server to verify the installation.



    For Redhat Atomic Installation
    1. Select the first option and press Enter key.



    2. Follow on-screen instructions to install.
    3. After installation is completed, log into the server to verify the installation.



    For Centos Installation
    1. Select the first option and press Enter key.



    2. Follow on-screen instructions to install.
    3. After installation is completed, log into the server to verify the installation.

    For Ubuntu Server
    1. Follow on-screen instructions to install.
    2. After installation is completed, log into the server to verify the installation:



    For Windows Server 2016
    1. Follow on-screen instructions to install.
    2. After installation is completed, log into the server to verify the installation.
